Commentary on the exhibit
“Children of the Gulf War”

Dr. Altai, a New Jersey ophthalmologist and native of Iraq, has spoken at Kean University and St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Montclair. He will discuss questions about the war and its medical consequences . . . particularly as a result of the U.S. and U.K. military’s use of Depleted Uranium (DU) weapons.
The exhibit, "Children of the Gulf War," is a series of photographs by Takeshi Morizumi of Hiroshima, Japan, a researcher who visited Iraq six times before the recent war.
