Emergency Convergence on the White House Against the US War on Iraq - Washington, DC - March 15

On March 15, there will be an Emergency Convergence on the White House in Washington DC. In the coming days, we will see whether the Bush administration intends to defy the will of the people and plunge ahead with his criminal war plans. Everyone recognizes that it is critical that the movement maintain momentum and visibility as a means to further ignite grassroots opposition everywhere. At the White House convergence on March 15, thousands of people will demand No War on Iraq. They will also call for George Bush to be impeached for crimes committed in planning and executing war abroad and assaulting constitutionally protected civil rights and civil liberties at home.

Philadelphia

Apparently Bush is having a hard time understanding that the people in the U.S. and around the world do not want his war against Iraq.  Let's take the message to his door.  ANSWER has put out a call for an emergency response (originally March 1, but moved to March 15) to surround the White House.  A flyer will be out soon, but we need to hear from everyone in the next week about interest in buses.  Tickets will be $20; buses will leave from outside 30th Street Station (time to be announced).  Call 215-724-1618 or contact:

We will be setting up ticket sale locations - let us know if you can help with this and/or with phone banking and other means to get the word out quickly.  So cast off your cabin fever from the weight of winter and spread the word about March 15.  Start by emailing your friends and anyone else you know who wants to stop this war.  Time is running out!!!!

Princeton
The Coalition for Peace Action has decided to facilitate participation of persons against a war with Iraq in the next national demonstration on that theme on Saturday, March 15, 2003 in Washington, D.C. It is sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition, as were the October 26, 2002 and the January 18, 2003 demonstrations. We have reserved 5 buses.  We have gone out on a limb by reserving so many up front so please do reserve ASAP.  We ask that if you plan to come on our bus(es) to D.C. that day, please click on the link below and make your reservation now. We don't want to reserve more than we need, since we need to pay a deposit which we might forfeit if we cancel it. Once we start filling these buses, we can reserve more.
